I agree with this interpretation -- you really wouldn&#039;t get such graphic coverage of an American/European disaster.

I understand your argument that graphic coverage is more effective, but the double standard is a little disturbing to me.

And I think that, in general, Americans don&#039;t care enough about the deaths of Asians, Africans, or -- most tellingly -- Iraqis.</description>
